Hazards surrounding glacier environment and on glacier
Crampon tecnique
Ascending and descending/rappelling ropes
Guiding and route selection

Gear needed for the course:
Personal gear (not provided but ask us un case of need)
• Full stiff or half stiff mountaineering boots
• Harness (with gear loops)
• Helmet
• Crampons (preferably 12 points)
• Ice axe

Day1 Reykjavik: to be decide at every course.
Day2-3 at Sólheimajökull: from the Road N1 between Skógafoss and Vik (South of Iceland), take the turn into the 221 and follow for few Km (4-5) to get to the parking lot.
